La gran importancia del sentido de la enseñanza

Cuando iniciamos un curso escolar nos podemos dar cuenta que cada clase es un territorio de diversidades. Aunque todos pueden tener las mismas edades, todos los estudiantes son muy diferentes entre sí. Provienen de ambientes distintos, de situaciones específicas que originan que los procesos sean personalizados. La importancia del sentido de la enseñanza radica precisamente en esta individualidad. Hay que buscar el camino para que a todos les interese aprender lo que les estamos enseñando.

El sentido de la enseñanza

Los alumnos tienen diferentes motivaciones, capacidades e intereses. Se integran de forma distinta a los nuevos retos que implica la enseñanza. Por ello deben encontrar el sentido para poder aprender.

Todo esto recae en las llamadas configuraciones didácticas de Edith Litwin en las cuales el docente se relaciona de manera particular con sus estudiantes para favorecer el aprendizaje. Son las técnicas que utiliza para favorecer la construcción del conocimiento y encontrar el sentido de la enseñanza.

Es de gran importancia relacionar los contenidos teóricos con la práctica para que sea del interés del alumno y se facilite el aprendizaje. ¿Cuántos de nosotros repetimos largos temarios sin encontrar ningún sentido a lo que estábamos repitiendo? Finalmente lo memorizábamos por un periodo muy corto y lo terminábamos olvidando. ¿De qué servía este tipo de enseñanza? Desafortunadamente de muy poco.

Por el contrario, si el alumno se involucra en los conceptos y les encuentra sentido, construye su aprendizaje y se siente bien con lo que está aprendiendo. Piensa cómo lo va a aplicar en su vida cotidiana y distingue sus preferencias.
